The ministry of Sound Choices is made possible through dedicated volunteers who serve women and families with compassion, encouragement, and practical support.
Whether you have experience in ministry, administration, teaching, or simply a heart to serve, there is a place for you on our volunteer team.
Most volunteer positions require one 3-hour shift per week, and training is provided. No previous experience is necessary.

Volunteer Opportunities
Patient Advocate
Patient Advocates meet with women who come to Sound Choices seeking pregnancy confirmation, information, and support.
Advocates provide a listening ear, compassionate encouragement, practical resources, and opportunities to share Christ’s love during a significant moment in a woman’s life.
Many advocates have personally experienced an unplanned pregnancy, while others simply have a heart for serving women and families. No prior experience is required. Comprehensive training is provided.
Parenting Class Teacher
Parenting Class Teachers facilitate weekly parenting classes for mothers and fathers participating in our educational programs.
Our curriculum is simple and easy to follow. More important than teaching experience is a willingness to encourage, mentor, and build relationships with parents.
If you love helping others grow and desire to share Christ’s love, this may be a great fit for you.
Data Entry Clerk
Data Entry Clerks provide vital administrative support by entering information into our client database and helping keep records organized and accurate.
This position is ideal for volunteers who enjoy detail-oriented work and would prefer a behind-the-scenes role supporting the ministry.
Training is provided.
Church Liaison
Church Liaisons serve as a connection between Sound Choices and their local church.
Responsibilities include:
- Sharing ministry updates and needs
- Promoting events and volunteer opportunities
- Coordinating Baby Bottle Boomerang campaigns
- Helping raise awareness of the services offered by Sound Choices
This role plays an important part in helping churches partner with the ministry and support women and families in our community.
Prayer Team
Not everyone can volunteer on-site, but everyone can pray.
Our Prayer Team receives updates and prayer requests related to the ministry, clients, staff, volunteers, and upcoming events.

Volunteer Training
Training is available for all volunteer positions and is scheduled throughout the year as applications are received.
